Speak to the Earth and It Will Teach You

I have been reading Dr. Stewart’s book, “The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple – God’s Love Manifest in Molecules.” It has been very informational and I wanted to share a glimpse with you.

Religion makes science relevant. And science, in its proper role, makes religion honest. Neither is complete without the other. Together, they both lead to God. Separately they can become false gods.

As Paul admonished us in 1 Thessalonians 5:21…

This word was meant for all our endeavors ~ both in science and in spirit.

Prayer ~ The Ultimate Tool of Science

D. Gary Young engaged in a successful practice of naturopathic medicine. When he first encountered aromatherapy and began to incorporate that modality into his practice, there were no accessible references on the chemistry of therapeutic oils or on how they worked in the body and mind to bring about healing. “I studied the chemistry of oils through prayer,” he said.
Dr. Young’s “studies” have borne innumerable fruits through the years as many people have been healed by the science he has developed “through prayer.”

Dr. Stewart suggest that in the end the science of prayer is always going to be your ultimate resource in studying and applying essential oils for therapeutic purposes.

Neither this book or any other will or can replace that direct contact with the Source of all science, which is the conscious presence of a divine, guiding intelligence (God) permeating all creation.

When you are faced with a healing crisis and don’t know which way to go or what oil to apply, you can always ask God directly. He provides the ultimate textbook and is always near, waiting for you to ask.

As Job 12:8 says:It definitely helps see how God is brought back into the sciences  and re-establish His presence as the foundation of the process of true scientific research.
